It can be reached from Dabolim Goa Airport, which is just 17 kms from Majorda beach. One can also reach the beach from Majorda Railway Station just 11 kms away from the beach. From both the places one can hire a taxi or take a to reach the destination. Goa is quite near to Pune, Mumbai and can be easily reached from there via direct trains and by air.

It's a busy beach with lots of tourists coming here. It is best to keep less cash and use credit cards wherever possible. Eat out at well-known places and avoid local stuff. Try out the cakes and cookies which are made in the bakeries and are quite popular. And keep your kids close by, not allowing them to go out of eyesight. Always keep the Police emergency number with you and be in touch with your tour guide. While moving out at night it is a good idea to keep your tour guide with you.

A lot of tourist attractions can be found near Majorda Beach. It is filled with churches and temples. Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tourists come here to see the remains of St. Francis Xavier as well as the baroque architecture of the church. Another attraction is Monte Hill Chapel, which was founded in the 16th century. Located on Monte Hill it is a major tourist attraction.

Church of Our Lady of Mercy is known for its healing powers. It is believed that this church heals anykind of disease. It is also famous for Fama Festival which is held here every year. Other famous churches are Church of Our Lady of Rosary, Grace Church which offer a great view of Divar Island and Mandovi river.
