How to Reach Cochin

Cochin is easily accessible through Airways, Roadways, Railways and Waterways. The city is well connected to all the major cities around the world and within the country.

By Air

The Cochin International Airport has access to operate flights connecting the city with all major cities across the world. The airport is located 29 kilometers away from the main city centre.

By Rail

All the major railway stations in India are very well connected to Cochin. Either Cochin-Ernakulam Town Station or Ernakulam Junction Station has a stoppage for all Kerala bound trains.

By Road

Kerala State Run Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has a good network of bus services across the city. It also connects Cochin with the major cities of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Taxis and cabs provide services to the travelers to move around within the city. It is the easiest mode of transport to enjoy traversing in Kerala.

By Water

One can cruise across the backwaters to reach Cochin. Travelers from Goa, Mumbai, Colombo, Lakshadweep and Male can reach the city through waterways by boarding a yatch or a ship. Kottayam, Kumarakom and Alleppey have regular boat services to Cochin.

Note: One can hire a bus, taxi and cab or board a train to reach their destination from the Airport/ Railway Station.
