How to Reach Mumbai

By Air

Sahara International Airport renamed as Chatrapati Shivaji Terminal is the International Terminal of Mumbai. It operates several flights round the clock. It is located 30 km away from the Nariman Point and at a distance of 4 km from the Santa Cruz domestic terminal. The flights that have access from this airport connect various national and international destinations. You can enjoy the amenities like duty free shops, exchange bureaus, restaurants, tourist offices and left luggage sheds which are available in both the terminals. You can also get your hotels booked, cars on rent and pre-paid taxi services from the terminals. You can avail the regular shuttle bus service running between the two terminals. The domestic terminal is well connected with the Western and Southern region of India.

By Rail

Mumbai is massively connected through railways as the city hosts the headquarters of Central Railways as well as Western Railways. Being the lifeline of Mumbai, Railways connect the city with all other prominent cities of the country through Super-fast trains and passenger trains. You can easily access from Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad through railways. The city has two major railway stations- Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly known as Victoria Terminus) and Bombay Central Station. Eastern and Southern parts are covered by the Central railways whereas; Western railways cover the Northern and Central stations. The local railway stations of Mumbai include Church gate, Dadar and Kurla. It provides good service for the visitors traveling through railways.

By Road

Mumbai has well connected road network with all the big and small cities and towns of India. The BEST bus service is Mumbai’s most efficient public bus system. You can travel to and from Mumbai to other states of the country via Interstate buses, luxury coaches and rickety buses. The black-and-yellow taxis make traveling within the city convenient for the tourists. A traveler from the nearby city can opt traversing through roadways
