2. Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace

Second most popular attraction in Madurai is Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. It was built by king Thirumalai Nayak in year 1636 (hence it’s name) in Indo-saracenic style with tall arches gracing the palace.
