GoAir Launches Flights on Seven New International Routes

GoAir is adding up to the competition of airline players by adding seven new international air routes to its existing itineraries. This includes three new destinations namely, Kuwait, Bangkok and Dubai. This international expansion plans will commence from July 19, 2019.

However, the services on these new routes will be subjected to the regulatory bodies’ approval. According to GoAir, they would be starting their new service of international routes by providing daily flights to Dubai, Bangkok and Abu Dhabi from Indian destinations like Kannur, Mumbai and New Delhi. The Bangkok, Kuwait and Dubai are fairly new destinations for GoAir, while the other four were already a part of the GoAir’s routes.

GoAir is currently providing flights to Abu Dhabi and Muscat from the international airport of Kannur. From Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, GoAir provides flights to Maldives and Phuket. According to source from GoAir, the service to Maldives is currently on hold. No explanation is provided for the same.

These new routes and flights are focused on increasing and strengthening the presence of GoAir in the South East Asian Countries and Middle East countries. According to the Acting CEO and Managing Director of GoAir, JehWadia, the network expansion of the airlines is currently in sync with their vision to expand their footprint in the strategic markets of the world for growing their business in a profitable manner.

He also added that by expanding to new grounds in Kuwait, Bangkok and Dubai, they plan to continue taking their momentum of growth to the near future. Currently, the Wadia group’s non-listed carrier flights flies in many major Indian airports at Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Bagdogra, Goa, Jammu, Leh, Kannur, Patna, Port Blair, Srinagar, Chandigarh and others.
