1. Dharchula (India Nepal Border)


Dharchula is a beautiful town located on the Indo-Nepal border and is surrounded by a snow-clad Panchachuli peak. Dharchula has many places which attract numbers of visitors every year and Manasa Sarovar which is a freshwater lake is famous among all. This lake is located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. If you walk a few meters ahead, Dharchula is  connected with Nepal by a foot over the bridge which is built across the Kali River.

2. Pangong Lake (India China Border)


Located in the Leh district of Ladakh, Pangong-Tso needs no introduction as there is so much written about the beauty of this place. Pangong is an important breeding ground for a variety of birds and the views of this lake are nothing less than majestic. The line of actual control passes through this lake and more than two-thirds of the lake is under Chinese territory.

3. Malda (India Bangladesh Border)


Also known as the Mango city of India, Malda is very close to the Bangladesh Border. Malda Is also known by the name of English Bazar in past, it is famous for its beautiful architecture, and it is situated at the confluence of River Mahanadi and Kalindi. Whenever you make a visit to Malda, do not forget to try out the Himsagar variety of Mango which is intrinsic to the soil here.

 

4. Nelong Valley (Indo China Border)


Situated in the Lap of Himalaya Nelong Valley is blessed with an arid landscape and brilliant views of the Tibetan plateau. This valley is situated in Gangotri National Park and is just 45 km from the India-China border. Nelong valley is very rich in wildlife which includes snow leopard, Himalayan sheep, and musk deer along with rare birds and plant species. Overnight stay is not allowed and only six forest vehicles are permitted on daily basis. Indians need a permit from the sub-divisional magistrate and a fitness certificate in order to enter thevalley.


5. Nathu La Pass-Mansarovar


We believe that Nathu la Pass is one of the most beautiful places on earth in north east part India. This is one of the few places where you can walk into the Chinese-Tibet border. Nathu la is one of the highest motorable roads in the world which is situated at a height of 14200ft, and recently a route has been opened up for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The fenced India-China border is a few meters away from here and you can see both Indian and Chinese army soldiers guarding both sides of the border.

6. Chitkul (Indo - Tibetan Border)


Chitkul is the last village of India to the side of the Tibet border. This beautiful hamlet is located at the side of the Baspa River. Chitkul is best known for its peas and potatoes
in India. Located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh this village is only 1 km from the Nagasthi check post and just 10km from the China border. Blessed by the lush greenery and misty trails this place will amaze you with its surrounding.

7. Wagah Border (India Pakistan Border)


Wagah is the last village to the side of the Pakistan border. Wagah is located near a road border linking the Grand trunk road. The lowering of the flag ceremony which happens every evening before sunset is the biggest tourist attraction here. One thing which is important for everyone to understand is that the Indian border name is Attari and not Wagah. Wagah village lies entirely in Pakistan and not in India. Attari is the last railway station and it acts as the main post for customs and immigration of the Samjhauta Express. Every Indian should surely visit this place and experience the friendly ceremony happening between India and Pakistan.

8. Pamban Bridge (India Srilanka)


Pamban bridge or Ram Setu is the symbol of the National Unity of India and is a national monument. Pamban is a former land bridge maintaining the relationship between India and Sri Lanka. This 30 km long stretch is placed between Dhanushkodi’s tip of India’s Pamban Island and Mannar island of Sri Lanka. This place has its own charm and beauty which restricts it to be called the border. This place comes under the Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park which is famous for its Coral reefs and several water animals.

9. Bhairabkunda (India Bhutan)


Bhairabkunda is located on the tri-junction of Bhutan, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh. Bhairabkunda has a famous picnic spot name Udalguri which is located in the district of Assam and is also a major tourist place for Shiva. This place is located on the confluence of the Jampani river which originates from Bhutan and the Bhairabi river which unites here to shape the Dhanshiri River.

10. Nako Lake (Indo Tibet Border)


This beautiful lake which provides you a beautiful scenery is located in the Nako Villages in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. This lake is situated on the NH-22 which is
