Signature Itinerary of Golden Chariot

This itinerary was introduced in the end of 2019. The trip starts and ends in Yeshvantpur Railway Station in Bengaluru City. The itinerary covers destinations like Bandipur, Mysore, Srirangapatnam, Banavar, Halebidu, Chikmangalur, Hampi, Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole, and Goa before reaching Bengaluru.

The Golden Chariot itinerary covers sightseeing at each destination and exclusive activities like evening safari at Bandipur national park, plantation exploration at Chikmangalur, Bollywood Evening, cultural programs inside the train, and others.

Terms and Conditions

  • 20% of the total tariff should be paid to confirm the ticket. Rest has to be paid with 60 days from the date of departure.
  • If cancelled more than 60 days from the date of departure, 80% of the total cost is returned. If cancelled anytime between 45 and 59 days from the date of departure, 60% of the total tariff is returned.
  • An additional $400 per ticket is levied if the itinerary covers Christmas or New Year’s Day.
  • Child below the age of 5 is free to travel with a parent and share a bed with the parent.
  • 50% of ticket is charged for child between 5 and 12 years, with sharing bed. If a separate bed is requested, the child is charged as an adult.
  • The train requires a minimum amount of passengers for a profitable run. If the threshold is not met, full refund is made or an alternative date for travel will be provided.
  • If the passenger fails to show up or does not take part in any of the activity, no refund will be provided.
  • The international passengers have to pay in USD and the Indians (including NRIs) have to pay in INR.
  • The price mentioned does not include taxes. The GST and other charges vary from time to time upon the decision of the government.

  • Accommodation and travel in luxury train and in any designated luxury road transportation during excursion

Exclusions

The tariff does not include:

  • Pre or post tour accommodation or travel, including flight charges
  • Any personal purchase done during the excursion
  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Laundry service, spa, conference room, and gym (unless complimentary offer is provided)
  • Telephone calls
  • Video camera charges at the monuments and attractions
