4 Days Goa Itinerary
Day 1
Make sure to pre-book your accommodation so that you need not spend time choosing a hotel. Once you have settled in, make sure to walk around the hotel to enjoy the lifestyle of the land or visit any nearby attractions. For dining, try to add Goa cuisine to the menu, especially their desserts and seafood delicacies. It is recommended to start your vacation from North Goa. By late afternoon, reach Baga Beach and/or Calangute beach. Both the beaches are just 2 km away. This is the best place for water sports like banana ride, parasailing, and others. If you wish to enjoy something luxurious, you can book a sunset cruise and enjoy spotting dolphins.
This beach region is also famous for nightlife. You can find clubs, pubs and dance floors open throughout the night for partying. If you are in Vegas mood, you can try your luck in casinos.
Day 2
It is understandable that you would be waking up a little late and hungover. Thus, it is time for some mild activities like sightseeing. North Goa is famous for its collection of forts, religious spots and much more. The best place to start your sightseeing is at the Basilica of Bom Jesus. From this basilica, you can find numerous cathedrals around it within a few kilometers, namely Se’ Cathedral, Church of St. Francis, Church and monastery of St. Augustine, Chapel of our lady of the mount and others. Other attractions to cover in North Goa are Aguada Fort, Chapora Fort, Salim Ali bird sanctuary and others. You can also find a few temples in Goa like Carambolim Brahma temple, Shri Saptakoteshwar temple, Mahalaxmi Temple, Mahadeva temple and others.
Visit any of the beaches to spend a bonfire night or stick with nightclubs. If you prefer to relax, you can retire back to your hotel room, a little early.
Day 3
It is time to visit the southern Goa and its beaches. You can choose from an array of beaches in this region like Varca Beach, Colva Beach, Majorda Beach, Palolem Beach, and others. You can find shacks around the beaches to enjoy fresh seafood. Starting from scuba diving to windsurfing, you can try out numerous watersports here. Day 4
If you had missed any important beaches or destinations, try to cover it during this day. Each beach region has a market, which is open once a week. Find any famous beach markets for shopping. Top items to buy from Goa are spices, nuts, cashew feni, handicraft items, wooden articles, tile paintings, and others. If you are looking for some natural beauty, try to explore spice plantations. Some of the plantations provide lunch along with a stroll. This is the best place to enjoy fresh farm cooked lunch with spices.
By late afternoon, enjoy some water sports of your choice or visit any pubs to enjoy music and dance. Get back to your hotel, when it time for your next journey.
Alternative Itinerary
Say, you are not much of a beach fan and do not want to spend the entire four days with just beaches. We have the right itinerary for you.
Day 1
After settling down in your hotel, set out to enjoy sightseeing. Visit forts and religious sites until dusk. Later, you can visit any nightclub or pub to enjoy dance, music, and booze.
Day 2
Spend the day with beaches and watersports. If you want to completely skip the beaches, enjoy visiting towns and villages of Goa. Top places to visit to enjoy the lifestyle of the land are Panaji, Mapusa, Fontain has (Panjim), Siolim, Arpora, and others.
Day 3
Visit the religious sites and museums of Old Goa. By evening, you can find any flea market or beach markets to enjoy shopping. Do not forget to taste the cashew wine of this region.
Day 4
Visit Salim Ali bird sanctuary early in the morning to spot many colorful birds. By early afternoon, visit spice plantations and enjoy a farm-cooked lunch in the plantation.
