How to Reach Bekal?

Bekal does not have its own airport. So if you are planning to visit Bekal by air, then you need to fly to Mangalore Airport. It is the nearest domestic airport to Bekal located at a distance of 50 km from Kasaragod.
The nearest international airport is Calicut International Airport, located in Kozhikode which is about 200 km from Kasaragod town.
By Rail
Regular trains to Bekal from the major cities of the country are available. The Kasaragod Railway Station and Kanhangad Railway Station are the nearest major railway stations, which are located about 12 km away from Bekal.
There are other railway stations located at Kottikulam and Pallikere which are located closer to Bekal and have access to local trains.
Note : One need to hire a taxi or cab to reach the final destination in Bekal.
By Road (Bus)
Bekal does not have any bus route from the other major cities. The nearest bus stand to Bekal is located at Kasaragod, which is at a distance of 12 km.
