How to Reach Trivandrum

Being the capital of Kerala, Trivandrum is very well connected to all the major cities of the world. It has a good network of transport that makes traveling in the city convenient for the tourists. One can choose the mode of transport according to their convenience.

By Air

Trivandrum International Airport in the city connects the city with other cities across the globe. The airport has access to direct flights to New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Cochin. It also operates direct flights to Sri Lanka, Singapore, Maldives and Middle East cities.

By Train

The Trivandrum Central railway station is well-linked with the major cities within the country like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Indore and others.

The Kochuveli Railway Station has been constructed to transfer the rail traffic to other station from central station.

By Road

The bus station of Trivandrum is close to the railway station. The nearby cities like Cochin, Bangalore, Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore have regular bus service to Trivandrum.

Excellent bus services are provided by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Tamil Nadu’s SETC, Raj National Express and GTC.

Traveling within Trivandrum

One can easily travel within the city for sightseeing, shopping or to attend business meeting by hiring a taxi or a cab. Autos, rickshaws, motorcycles and bicycles can be seen on the roads of the city.

Note : To reach your destination in the city, you can hire a taxi or a cab after your arrival at the Airport/ Railway Station.
