Located in the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh, Manali is the most picturesque Hill Station in North India. A lush green valley awaits your arrival. On the next day of your arrival at Manali, your overland Jeep Safari begins to take you en route to Rohtang Pass at an altitude of around 13000 ft. above sea level. Rohtang Pass divides the Lahaul Valley in the extreme North and Spiti Valley in the northeast of the Manali valley in Himachal Pradesh. Manali to Leh Road
We ascended the mountain ranges to reach Rohtang Pass. Through Rohtang Pass, we descend towards Leh. The flora and the landscape suddenly change to signal your entry into a different land. Travelling along the Chandra and Bhaga rivers, we stop at Keylong, the district headquarters of the region. We start our Jeep Safari and a little further find our safari ascending to reach Baralacha Pass through which we reach Jispa.
A little further from Jispa, there is a second pass, Bara Lacha, surrounded by thick snow, presenting a stunning view of the Trans-Himalayan ranges. Further drive takes us to the flat grounds of Sarchu at an altitude around four thousand meters, till the Gradual climb takes us to Pang. You may stop here at any tea shop for a filling and start the safari for Morari plains, leading to a short, steep drive up to the second-highest pass, Tanglangla, at an altitude of 17582 Ft. After descending the rough road, we find a fine broad road to drive fast along the right bank of Indus River. After crossing the bridge over the river, we find ourselves in Leh to explore it.
