Palace on Wheels journey through the pages of history shall begin on Wednesday – the day of the week when the train officially runs. On the beginning of the day, we shall welcome you aboard with true and ethnic Rajasthani welcome and a warm drink. On boarding the train, enjoy the beauty of the train from inside and feel like a Royal yourself!

Journey towards Jaipur – The Pink City of Rajasthan is overnight. The second day of the tour shall see you stepping down in Jaipur. Established by Maharajah Sawai Jai Singh II, it is one of the most beautiful cities of Rajasthan. So, soon after you finish your breakfast on board, we will take you around Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, City Palace. Dinner shall be served on board.

On the 3rd day of the travel we shall reach Sawai Madhopur which is famous for Ranthambore National Park. It was founded by Maharajah Sawai Madho Singh I. It is also considered one of the best place in India to see tigers! Chittorgarh is our next destination! Chittorgarh is a place where history resounds itself. Chittorgarh is famous for its Fort which is the largest in India.

Jaisalmer (The Land of Forts and Havelis) is where sand dance to the waves of winds and yellow sand-stone forts. Established by Maharana Rawal Jaisal; this city boasts of the royalty of northern India. Jaisalmer city hosts an annual Desert Festival which attracts many tourists every year.

Next destination on Palace on Wheels is Jodhpur – the land of the Sun! Enclosed in high walls of fort – its famous for its summers and Umaid Palace – the Royal Residence of present Prince of Rajasthan.

07:00 Hrs : Reach Jodhpur at Mandore Railway Station

07:30 Hrs : Enjoy your breakfast in Palace on Wheels

09:00 Hrs : Sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Explore various sightseeing in Jodhpur such as Meharangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Visit of Umaid Bhawan Museum & shopping.

13:30 Hrs : Have your lunch either onboard or in a deluxe resort at Ajit Bhawan Palace

16:00 Hrs : Return back to the train

16:30 Hrs : Embark the train to relax and move to Bharatpur

Bharatpur is where the Keoladeo Ghana National Park is located. Home to over 230 species of migratory birds including rare Siberian Crane, it is considered UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. We shall move on from here to Agra – to see the TAJ MAHAL – one of the SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD. On reaching here immerse yourself in the beauty of this timeless symbol of eternal love.
