After an early breakfast, we head towards the famous Pashupatinath Temple. Later visit Boudhanath, which is one of the largest statues of Lord Buddha and the largest in Nepal. Then we visit Bhaktapur, a historic city of Nepal. See the Durbar Square of the city exhibits amazing temples, depicting Victorian style of architecture.
Later in the day, we embark on a journey to Nagarkot. Enjoy the sunset view of Nagarkot. Return back to Kathmandu and overnight stay.
The Kathmandu Durbar Square is a treasure island of palaces of the Malla and Shah dynasty. Climb through hill to visit Swayambhunath Temple and get a panoramic view of Kathmandu. Later, you will visit the Kumari Temple, which is unique; the shrine of the virgin goddess.
You will love the simple rickshaw ride through the old lanes of Kathmandu which takes you to Thamel, a local restaurant, where you can relish authentic Nepalese food.
Today, after early breakfast, we head towards Pokhara. Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal. Reach hotel and check-in. Relax for the day and stay overnight at hotel.
Embrace nature at the banks of the enchanting Phewa Lake. The reflection of the ‘fish tail’ mountain peak over its crystalline waters is a miracle of nature. You can also enjoy a miraculous view of Annapurna Peak from here. Later visit The Seti River Gourge and the limestone caves of Mahendra Gumpha, which are the other attractions of Pokhara. Experience the tranquility of silent night at Pokhara.
Today, after breakfast, you will leave for the Chitwan. This is just not another wildlife sanctuary but a natural park full of activities. After arriving, check into hotel or lodges. Nights are beautiful here with bonfires and folk song and dance programmes. Overnight stay.
Today is the day, you will visit to the Chitwan National Park. The park has wildlife like rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, deer and reptiles. Go for safari rides, canoeing or jungle walks through the woods, witnessing the wildlife in their natural ambience. There is another night stay at Chitwan.
Have a healthy breakfast and leave for Lumbini, which is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. This Buddhist pilgrimage is a World Heritage Site. The place also has the Manakamana Temple which is considered to fulfill the wishes of the devotees.
After arriving at Lumbini you are taken to the hotel where you can rest for some time. Rest of the day stroll through the sprawling Lumbini Garden, visiting the Maya Devi temple; the temple has an amazing base sculpture in which Maya Devi is found to be holding a Pipal Tree and giving birth to Buddha, who is seen standing on a Lotus pedestal. There is an overnight stay at Lumbini.
Have a delicious breakfast and leave for the sightseeing of Tilaurkot. This is an archaeological place where Lord Buddha is said to have spent time as a Shakya Prince. Besides the shrines, monasteries and stupas, visit the Kapilvastu Museum, which treasures the pottery, jewelry and ornaments of ancient times. Back to Lumbini and overnight stay at hotel.
Today after having breakfast, we will return to Kathmandu and relax for the day. There is an overnight stay at Kathmandu.
