Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary- Tiger reserve forest: - Another fascinating dream destination in Thekkady is India's largest wildlife sanctuary. This 120-year-old 'Surki' dam built across Periyar, welcomes thousands of tourists. Built over an area of 25 sq. km near an artificial lake. It is the only Tiger reserve in the country with bountiful treasures of tropical flora and fauna, home to multiple endangered species along with a rich tribal culture.

Kathakali martial arts:A famous storytelling dance form, Kathakali is a delight to watch, are the oldest martial arts traced to the prehistoric period.

Spice plantation visit: Thekkady is covered with lush green hills covered in aromatic cardamom spice plantations.

Tour Itinerary

At Cochin Railway station /Airport, you will meet our tour representative on arrival who will greet you and brief you about the travel program. After checking in at the hotel, he will take you to Thekkady Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. In the evening, you will experience folk dancing- Kathakali. Overnight stay at the hotel.


After having breakfast, you will proceed to “boat land” for boating in Thekkady. Followed by a wonderful experience of elephant riding. Later in the evening, you will visit a spice plantation. Then, dinner and overnight stay at Thekkady hotel.


After taking breakfast, the journey enters the last leg and you will check out from the Hotel at Thekkady and drive to Cochin Airport/railway station. This ends our amazing journey together.
