4 Days - Shillong Cherrapunji Tour Packages

On your arrival at Guwahati Railway station / Airport, our tour representative will receive you. You will then proceed for a 3 ½ hour drive to the majestic hill station of Shillong. On your way, you will halt at the mesmerizing Borapani Lake. Popularly known as ‘Umiam Lake,’ it is the largest artificial lake of the beautiful state of Meghalaya.

Upon arrival at Shillong, you will complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Today post sumptuous breakfast, we will proceed for a drive to Cherrapunjee - One of the wettest destinations on the planet. This place is known for receiving continuous rainfall throughout the year.

This magnificent town is nestled within the East Khasi Hills that are located at about 50km southwest from Shillong. Cherrapunjee, widely known as Churra or Sohra ( the Land of Oranges) offers the tourists with a breathtaking view of landscapes of Bangladesh.

Later on, you will visit famous attractions such as Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Caves, Rama Krishna Mission Museum, Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park, Dainthlen Waterfalls, and the famous Seven Sister Falls.

After the sightseeing tour, we head back to the hotel at Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Today post delicious breakfast, we will proceed for a full day excursion tour of Shillong. Popularly known as ‘The Gleneagle of the East’ - Shillong is bounded by the majestic Khasi Hills. This gorgeously surreal town offers some of the most fantastic tourist attractions.

The tour will commence with a visit to Ward’s Lake that is famous for boating and garden walks.

We will then head on to visit Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures - an institution that merges museum wind research along with a publication center whose mission is to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the North-Eastern states of India.

Later, we will proceed to explore Lady Hydari Park that has a vast stretch of an exquisite collection of flowers and roses. This typical Japanese styled park offers a mesmerizing sight. Next, we will visit the Mini Zoo situated in the vicinity of the park that is home to a wide range of mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Later, we proceed towards Golf Course - one of the most massive Golf courses in Asia. This fantastic 18 hole golf course stretches across a surging valley lined up with Rhododendron trees and pine groves.

The evening can be spent at the State Museum that offers a splendid display of the rich heritage and lifestyle of the citizens of Meghalaya. Shillong town is surrounded by some breathtaking waterfalls, beautiful valleys, and majestic landscapes that offer a picturesque view of nature’s beauty.

Your final destination of the day will be the Elephant Falls, followed by a visit to the Shillong Peak that offers a splendid panoramic view of the entire valley and city.

Today post leisurely breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and shortly be transferred to Guwahati airport / railway station for onward journey.
