4 Nights / 5 Days - Pench and Kanha Wildlife Tour

Once you reach Nagpur airport or railway station, the tour representative will greet and escort you to Pench. The Pench national park is around 80 km away from Nagpur. Thus, you will be traveling for two hours to reach the national park.

Once you reach Pench, you will be checked into a pre-booked resort. If time permits, you can choose to enjoy evening safari in Pench National Park. If not, enjoy resort amenities or rest in your room.

Overnight stay in resort in Pench.

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your resort on a jeep. You will be taken on a morning jungle jeep safari along with an expert wildlife naturalist.

Pench National Park is one of the famous tiger reserves in India. Apart from the national animal, the park also has lush population of jungle cat, four-horned antelope, Indian leopard, Chital, sloth bear, wolf, and others. Spotting birds is very easier during morning drives. Top birds to spot are wagtail, lesser whistling teal, pintail, red-vented bulbul, blue kingfisher, munia, crow pheasant, waterfowl, and others.

After safari, you will be dropped off at your resort for breakfast. After brief rest, you can choose to explore the nature tracks closer to your resort, enjoy activities inside the resort, or relax.

After lunch, you will be taken on the evening safari. Spotting predatory animals including tigers is common during evening safari. By taking back-to-back safaris you are increasing the chances of spotting tigers and other large mammals.

After safari, you will be dropped off at your resort. Overnight stay in the resort in Pench.

After breakfast in the resort, the checkout formalities begin. After checking out from the resort, you will be taken on a road drive to Kanha National Park.

Kanha National Park is around 200 km away from Pench and it would take around four hours of road travel.

Once you reach Kanha, you will be checked into a resort. After a brief rest, if time permits, you can choose to enjoy evening safari in Kanha National Park. Or, you could explore the regions around the resort.

Overnight stay in Kanha.

Early in the morning, you will be taken on a jeep safari to Kanha National Park from the resort with expert naturalist.

Kanha National Park is a lush region with numerous flowering plants, trees, climbers, and othervegetations. Top animals to spot here are bison, tiger, deer, gaur, sambar, spotted deer, swamp deer, barking deer, mouse deer, and others.

After completing the safari, you will be taken back to the resort for breakfast. You can choose to enjoy your late mornings and afternoon with in-house activities or by exploring nature tracks around the resort.

After lunch, you will be taken on an evening safari to Kanha National Park on a jeep. Evening safari is the right time to spot animals like jungle cat, fox, hyena, Indian wolf, wild boar, sloth bear, and others. The reserve has more than 300 bird species too.

After safari, you will be taken back to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be checked out of the resort and taken on a road drive to Jabalpur. Jabalpur is around 180 km away from Kanha and it would take three hours to reach Jabalpur. Once you reach Jabalpur, you will be taken to the airport or railway station for onward journey or destination.
