Pinnawala
Elephant Orphanage is located in the northwest part of the town of
Kegalle, which is half between the present capital of the country
Colombo, and Kandy. This elephant orphanage was established in the year 1975 by the Wildlife Department of Sri Lanka
in an area of 25 acres near the Maha Oya River. This orphanage was
created to take care of the orphaned elephants which are found in the
jungle of Sri Lanka.

Sacred Tooth Relic is located in the royal palace complex of Kandy. From

of Sri Lanka and it is often stated that one who holds the relic holds
the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri
Lankan King and due to this temple, this place is in the world heritage
site.

around Kandy and engaging yourself in the cultural dance which shows the
local and traditional culture of Sri Lanka and its ancient heritage.
