Tour Itinerary

Once you reach Amritsar airport, you will be received by Travelogy India representative, who would assist you to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel.

The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Amritsar.


After breakfast, you will be visiting the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib). The Golden Temple gets its name from the gold plating of the structure. The site is visited by Sikhs from around the world as it is their highest and most-spiritual site.

Later, you will be visiting a public garden, Jallianwala Bagh. It is an infamous site in the history of the Indian independence struggle. In 1919, General Dyer ordered firing on a massive gathering of women, children, and men, who were unarmed. This garden now stands as a reminder of the great tragedy.

The next stop is at Wagah Border. This is a border between India and Pakistan, allowing transit of goods and people via the train station and a goods terminal between the countries. The town is also very famous for the stunning border ceremony that takes place every evening.

After watching the evening border ceremony, you will be driven back to your hotel. Overnight stay at Amritsar.



Post breakfast and check out formalities, you will be taking a four-hour road drive (205 km) from Amritsar to Dharamshala.

After reaching Dharamshala, you will be checked into a hotel room. After a short rest, you will be taken to visit local markets of Dharamshala. You can enjoy souvenir hunting or explore the region.

Back to hotel. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.


Post breakfast, you will be taken to visit Dalai Lama Temple to explore the monastery, temple, museum, stupa, cafe, and a library.

Later, you will be visit the Bhagsunag Temple. Enjoy the walking tour along a nature-filled trail by visiting the Bhagsunag Falls.

Also visit the Norbulingka institute. Kim Yeshi and Kelsang found Norbulingka institute in 1995 for preserving the culture of Tibet in its artistic and literary form. This institute is located in Sidhpur, a little away from Dharamshala.

Back to hotel. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.


Post breakfast, you will be checked out and taken on a road trip to Shimla. Check-in to hotel and relax for the day.

Post breakfast, you will be taken for Shimla sightseeing. You will be covering Lord Hanuman's temples like Jakhu Temple and Sankat Mochan Temple.

Later, you will be visiting the State Museum, Ridge Road, and Christ Church. In the evening, visit Mall Road, Lakkar Bazaar, and Tibetan Market for souvenir hunting and exploration. Top souvenirs to buy here are artifacts, handicrafts, wooden articles, clothing, and others.

Back to hotel. Overnight stay at Shimla.


After breakfast, check out from Shimla and drive to Chandigarh Airport to catch the flight from Jaipur.
