7 Days - Kathmandu Valley Trekking Tour

Arrival in Kathmandu and meet the Travelogy India representative at the Airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and relax.

Later we will take you to Sightseeing tour of City to visit Swayambhunath and Durbar square. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Post breakfast visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most significant Hindu Temple located on the banks of Bagmati river, Then head to Boudhanath followed by Patan.

Later back to hotel and overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Post breakfast drive to Changunarayan Temple and pay a visit. Start your trek to Nagarkot. It is one of the most scenic spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas.

You can pick many Himalayas out with its snow-topped peaks on a clear day as there is an observation tower at the very top of the village’s hills. Nagarkot is at the eastern periphery of the Kathmandu Valley. Overnight stay at Nagarkot.

Start walking to Dhulikhel passing over Rhonnie Bhanjyang, Kankre and Tanchok. Admire the Himalayan view from the Dhulikhel hilltop. Overnight stay at Dhulikhel.

Have a sightseeing around Panauti. Drive to Balthali from Panauti(25 Minutes drive by hotel's non ac jeep). 1400m.

A 3-4 hour walk to Panauti from Dhulikhel and promenade around this town here you can see the 800 years Hindu temple of statues of the Bishnu, the Sun God Surya and the Moon God Chandra.

Along the river bank is an opportunity to visit the local Ghats, cremation ground. Panauti has been totally restored by donations from France. Drive to Balthali. Overnight stay at Balthali.

After breakfast, explore a typical Tamang village, Dada Gaun, where a Buddhist Community lives. It is very traditional and secluded from the modern world. Here people and animals live together side by side. Walk upto Khopasi for half an hour. Then drive back to Kathmandu en-route Bhaktapur sightseeing.

Bhaktapur - the city is also known, as like a museum of medieval art and architecture with many examples of sculpture, woodcarving and colossal pagoda temples consecrated to different gods and goddesses which is 15 km far from Kathmandu. It is a conglomeration of pagoda and shikhara-style temples grouped around a fifty-five window palace of brick and wood.

The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The golden effigies of kings perched on the top of stone monoliths, the guardian deities looking out from their sanctuaries, the wood carvings in every place-struts, lintels, uprights, tympanums, gateways and windows-all seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony. Pottery and weaving are its major traditional industries. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Post breakfast we will drop you to Kathmandu airport to board on flight to onward journey.
