8 Days - Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib Trek from Delhi

Reach the Yoga Capital of the country by driving directly from Delhi to Rishikesh or flying to Dehradun and driving to Rishikesh. Once you reach Rishikesh, you will be checked into a hotel.

Visit Triveni Ghat by evening to enjoy the famous Ganga Aarti. Return to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Post breakfast, you will be driven to Joshimath via Rudraprayag, Devprayag, and Chamoli on the NH 58. After the scenic ride, you will reach Govindghat, where you will be checked into a rest house. You will be enjoying dinner and overnight stay in Govindghat.

This is the beginning of the Valley of Flowers trek. You will start the day by a road drive to Ghangaria. From there, the 14 km trek starts. This trail would take a maximum of 5 hours to complete.

You will trek through waterfalls, lush green areas, villages, forested regions, and more. Once you reach the destination, you will be checked into a guesthouse.

Enjoy overnight stay and dinner at the guesthouse.

After breakfast, pack up lunch and start the Valley of Flowers trek from Ghangaria. The route is a little steep but mesmerizing. You ought to pay a fee if you wish to carry your camera inside.

As you walk through the region, you would reach the valley in a couple of hours. The valley is located 3,658m above mean sea level and you spot the Pushpawati River’s source. Spend the day by exploring the flowers and other natural beauties of the region.

Return to Ghangaria, on the same day.

Post breakfast, the Hemkund Sahib trek starts, which is around 4 hours away (6 km). The Hemkund Sahib is perched at 4,329m above mean sea level. If you are choosing peak summer and spring, the route would be closed due to heavy rainfall (November to April).

The trek ends at Parikrama of the region, which is a pristine water source for a holy dip. After taking a holy dip, you will visit the small shrine of Lord Lakshman.

Later, you will reach the Gurudwara. After exploring the place, you will return to Ghangaria on the same day.

Post breakfast, you will be reaching Govindghat as you trek through the beautiful Himalayan valley. Once you reach Govindghat, you will be staying overnight in a guesthouse.

After breakfast, you will start the road trip to Rishikesh. Once you reach Rishikesh, you will be checked into a hotel, and the rest of the day is free.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Delhi or to the Dehradun airport to catch your flight to Delhi.
