9 Days - Uttarakhand Tour from Mumbai

Once you reach Kathgodam from Mumbai, you will be picked up by the tour representative. You will be driven to Almora and checked into a hotel to enjoy the evening at leisure.

After enjoying breakfast, you will be driven around Almora to see Nanda Devi Temple, Kasar Devi Temple, and Katarmal Surya Temple. The Katarmal Surya Temple is an important sun temple of India right after Konark Sun temple, Orissa. This temple is around 800 years old and almost in ruins. This is an important spiritual destination in the state.

Later, you will be exploring the markets and fresh nature of this hill town. You will be driven back to your hotel.

Post breakfast, you will be checked out of the hotel and driven to Binsar, which is 25 km away. Binsar is a hill town located 2412m above mean sea level. Binsar is famous for the beautiful panoramic view of Himalayas. Enjoy the view of peaks like Trishul, Chaukhamba, Panchchuli, Nandadevi, Nandakot, and Kedarnath.

Once you reach Binsar, you will be checked into a hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day as you please.

Post breakfast, the exploration of Binsar starts. You will be starting the sightseeing tour with a visit to the Jageshwar Temple and the Kasar Devi Temple.

Later, you will be taken to Binsar wildlife sanctuary (entry fee not included in the tariff). The sanctuary is famous for being home to 200 bird species. Apart from the birds, you can spot flying squirrels, leopard, Himalayan bear, fox, barking deer, porcupine, and others.

After the sanctuary, you will be visiting the Binsar Zero Point to enjoy the beautiful view of Himalayan Range. You will be driven back to your hotel.

Post breakfast, you will be checked out of the hotel and taken on a road trip to Kausani, 51 km away from Binsar. Kausani, the Switzerland of India is a scenic destination will 300 inhabitants or less.

Once you reach Kausani, you will be checked into a hotel and the rest of the day is free. Overnight stay at Kausani.

Post breakfast, the day is at leisure. Choose to visit beautiful destinations in Kausani like Kasauni Tea Museum, Anashakti Ashram, Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, Rudradhari Falls and Caves, Lakshmi Ashram, and others.

You can also enjoy natural beauties, local markets, and enjoy the freshness of this hill town.

After enjoying breakfast, you will be checked out of the hotel and taken on a road drive to Ranikhet. Once you reach, you will be checked into a hotel. The remainder of this day is free.

After breakfast, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour covering local attractions like Jhula Devi temple, Golf Course, Kalika Temple, and Chaubatia Orchards. You will be taken back to the hotel.
