Tour Itinerary

The itinerary starts in Pokhara. Pokhara is a land of mountain and heaven for mountaineers, along the banks of Phewa Lake. After reaching Pokhara, the rest of the day is yours.

Enjoy the natural beauty of Himalayas, local culture, rice fields and the ambience of the lake. You can take up short trips around the hotel or rest in the hotel for the long vacation in wait for you.


After breakfast in Pokhara, you would be taken on a road trip to Nayapul. The trip stretches for one and a half hour.

From Nayapul, the trekking expenditure starts to Ghandruk, covering Lower Gandruk on the way. The entire trekking trip stretches for 5 - 6 hours. The route is of moderate difficulty with well-paved path and stairs at intermittent distances.

On the route, you would be exploring the quaint village of Gandruk. This is the biggest village on the route filled with stone built small houses, typical local tea houses serving typical Nepalese cuisine and much more.

On the southern side, you can enjoy a view of Annapurna and Machapuchare. You would be staying in Gandruk for the night.


The day starts very early and you would be taking a muddy route trek down the hill to Kimrong Khola. The trekking lasts for one hour. You would be able to spot the snowy peaks of Annapurna South, Fishtail, Hinchuli and Gangapurna.

From there, the route goes uphill for 4-5 hours until you reach Chhomrong. This is a wonderful settlement on the route covered with green banana fields, ferns, rhododendrons and much more. This settlement has stone paved route up to the hill. This is the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary. You would be receiving your permits for further exploration here.

The Chomrong is the largest settlement region here and you can find shops for refreshment, memory cards, batteries and other requirements. After watching the sunset on the Annapurna Range, you would be retiring for the day here.


The next day starts with a downhill trek on a stone path with 2500 stairs. The trek will lead you to the hanging bridge. Once you cross the bridge, you will be heading towards Chomrong Khola. This region is a dense forest area. This sanctuary is filled with alpine trees, rhododendrons, oaks and others. You will be walking in a serene ambience spiked with reddish-pink flowers along the route.

The steep trail stops at Sinwa Village. Sinwa is comparatively a smaller village with a few lodges and teahouses. From this village, you can enjoy a flawless view of Annapurna III.

From there, you would start an ascending trek to reach Kulidhar. From Kulidhar, you would walk down the hill to reach Bamboo camp. You would be spending the night in the camp.


This will be the most strenuous day of the trip. Your trekking route would gradually change from lush sub-tropical vegetation route to alpine region. You would be trekking at an altitude of 4000 feet from mean sea level. Staying hydrated and taking is slow are very essential during this trek.

After trekking for an hour, you would spot the first village on the route, Dovan. Dovan is a very small settlement with just five lodges. From this village, you can spot the tip of Machapuchare Mountain.

From the village you would be taking on a long trekking path with ascends and descends, including the wooden bridge and shrine on the path. The trek will lead you to Himalaya. You can find a few teahouses in this region.

This is a landslide and avalanche prone region and within an hour of trekking in that route, you would reach Hinku, an overhanging cave. From the cave, the uphill trek turns into a valley trek with boulders and rocks along the path. After crossing the valley, you will find two snow patch regions. You can also spot ModiKhola in the valley.

Along the route, you can spot the peaks of Gangapurna and Machhapuchhre. After trekking for 40 minutes along a rocky terrain, you will reach Bagar. After passing a bridge over Modi Khola, you would reach Machhapuchhre base camp in just 30 minutes.

Machhapuchhre base camp is one of the mesmerizing spots of Machhapuchhre Mountain. You will be retiring for the day in the base camp. While staying in the camp, do not forget to enjoy the night sky and moon rise view.

You can spot many peaks from this camp including Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Annapurna I, Mount Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and Gandharvachuli.


After the tiring fifth day, this day is deliberately kept short to help tourists gain their stamina. You would be walking into the mountains to reach Annapurna base camp.

The trail starts as a steep ascend and then it will turn into a gradual descend. The beauty of this route is that you will not find trees in the route as you are far above the tree line.

As you get closer to the base camp, Annapurna I will start to look larger and larger. As you get closer, you can spot fluorescent rays from the range. Annapurna base camp will look like an island covered with peaks and large mountain ranges.

From the base camp, you can spot mountain ranges in all . Top mountains to spot are Machapuchare, Gangapurna, Gandharvachuli and of course, the Annapurna Range. You would reach the base camp by lunch time.

Lunch is served in the base camp and the rest of the day is spent in the camp. Overnight stay in the shelter in the camp.


This is the next longest day in the itinerary. You would be taking the same route back to Bamboo camp. The route is almost entirely descent and thus, you would not be as tired as you expect.

On the route, you will cover Machapuchare base camp, Himalaya, Deurali, Dovan and others. Overnight stay in Bamboo lodge.


From Bamboo, you would be retracing your steps to Sinwa, covering Shomrung Khola. You would cross the hanging bridge, Chomrung Village and other highlights again.

As you go downhill, you would stop at Jhinu Danda. From this village, the hot springs are just 20 minutes away. This is the last night of the itinerary. Overnight stay in Jhinu.


The day starts very early. This is the last day of the itinerary. You would be retracing your steps to Nayapul as you enjoy the hilly landscape of Nepal

From Nayapul, you will be taken on a road trip to Pokhara. Within 2 hours, you would be dropped off at your hotel in Pokhara.
