Post-breakfast journey to Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). Enjoy the overview of the Thimpu Valley from this place. Here you can offer prayer to Lord Buddha, known as the largest statue in the country and walk around the beautiful valley for a glimpse.
Next visit King's Memorial Chorten where people are chanting mantras, spinning prayer wheels and circling continuously.
Visit the Textile Museum to experience the weaving techniques, styles of local dress and textiles created by women and men.
After lunch, we will go to the Folk heritage museum to site the Bhutanese Folk heritage and rural history through exhibits, demonstrations, educational programs, and documentation.
Then we will visit the Institute of Zorig Chusum - an Art & Craft school or Painting school and Takin Preserve. Takin that looks like a cross between a cow and goat is the national animal of Bhutan.
In the evening, visit the government-aided Handicraft Emporium and local crafts bazaar to explore the traditional art. You can also buy hand-woven textiles, masks, ceramics, thangkha paintings, slate and wood carvings, jewellery and many more beautiful local items.
Spend the last night in Thimpu at Le Meridien.
