Private - One Day Trip Kumarakom

After arrival we shall pick you up from the airport and take you to your check – in hotel.

Kumarakom is a place surrounded by many islands of Vembanad Lake. It’s filled with natural pulchritude and ambience which is matchless in every sense.

After breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we shall take you to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Immerse into the natural beauty as you see all colours of birds painted with painstakingly work by God himself! The species of beauty found are so beautiful that you won’t feel like leaving the place.

Our next destination is St. Mary’s Church. Built by Thekkumkoor Maharajah in the year 1579, it’s a perfect architectural blend of Kerala and Portuguese style – an awe to look at. – the basallica theme, beautiful murals and the Golthic paintings! The next place is Bay Island Drift Museum. It’s the place which showcases a large collection of superior driftwood articles – unique in their own sense.

After exploring a portion of Kumarakom; we shall take you to the Pride of Kerala – Kettuvallam Houseboat! These are well equipped with air – conditioned rooms, toilets, dining hall, kitchen and a small balcony at the entrance to enjoy the scenic beauty as the Sun sets in! ).

Here enjoy the afternoon in the backwaters as we serve you fresh Freshwater fish and other South Indian delicacies on board. You can even try hands or two or simply watch as the cook on the houseboat prepares dishes for you! There are 500 houseboats in the Vembanad lake and we have booked one for you!

In the evening after a cup of hot south Indian filter coffee on – board, we will take you back to the hotel for night stay and dinner (those who wish to stay in the night in houseboat will have to talk to our representatives to help us make appropriate arrangements).

Next morning we will take you back to the airport for your departure.
