Additional Infomation

Kaziranga National Park generally offers its best wildlife experience from November to April. Park opening dates, safari zones and operating times are controlled by the forest authorities and may change according to weather and local conditions.

Boating at Dawki and the appearance of the Umngot River depend on rainfall, water levels and seasonal conditions. Waterfalls are normally more powerful during and immediately after the monsoon, while the river is often clearer during the drier months.

The trek to the Double-Decker Living Root Bridge is physically demanding and should only be undertaken by travellers who are comfortable with steep steps and extended walking. Easier sightseeing alternatives can be arranged for senior travellers or guests with limited mobility.

Driving times are approximate and can vary due to traffic, road conditions and weather. Travelogy India can customise the itinerary according to the guests’ preferred hotel category, fitness level, interests and available travel dates.
