Your first day trip to St. Thomas Church, Kapaleeswarar Temple, Fort St. George, Marina Beach, Government Museum and Art Gallery, Anna Zoological Park and more is simply amazing and captivates you whole day.

On second day, your journey onwards to Kanchipuram noted as the “Golden City of a Thousand Temples”, prominent for temples and its specifically fine silk saris embroidered with marvellous patterns.

Here you will pay homage in some of the exquisite temples like Ekambareshwarar Temple, Kailasanathar Temple, Kamakshi Temple, the Vaikuntha Perumal Temple and watch the regional homes of the weavers and the magic that they design out of silk thread into saris.

Fourth day morning excursion will take you from Madurai to Periyar “lazy hill station”, upon reaching, first check in your hotel/resort and later refreshing get ready to discover one of the wonderful wildlife sanctuaries of South India on boat over Periyar Lake to see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger etc.

In evening visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. On your way back to the hotel/resort and buy some fragrant spices. Overnight stay in Periyar.

On day five, early morning drive to boat landing point from where the hotel's courtesy boat will take you to “Kumarakom”. Upon arrival you will spend rest of the day at leisure in hotel or explore the Kumarakom bird sanctuary which is extent over 14 acres of land and haunt for migratory birds, like the Siberian Stork, egret, darter, heron and teal and local birds like the water fowl, cuckoo, owl and water hen.

A cruise, houseboats or motor boats are available on hire along the Vembanad Lake which is the best way to experience the sanctuary. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Sixth day morning present you a golden chance of little backwater cruise journey to Alleppey noted as the “Venice of the East” and back to Kumarakom. Later drive to Kochi.

Eighth day captivate the sightseeing of Old Goa and Panjim with its splendid churches and cathedrals. Later in the evening enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Mandovi River with the songs and dance numbers that are presented by local performers on the boat. Overnight stay in Goa.
