3. Manikarnika Ghat

4 Gyan Vapi 

According to the Hindu legends, Eeshan had explored Kashi with his Trishul. After that, he dug up a well which is nearer to Gyan Vapi mosque. It falls on the path of Vishwanath Temple. The water of the well is known to be pure. It has religious and sacred importance. It is considered as the holy place for performing the Pind Daan.

5. PANCHGANGA Ghat 

The Panch Ganga Ghat is at the distance of nearer 3 km from the Ganga River. It is located at that place where the five holy rivers of Ganga are. If the masses have to perform Pind Daan rituals, they do them on the Panch Ganga Ghat. 

These are five significant locations on which the rituals of Pind Daan is performed. The Pandit or Sadhu performs all these rituals. The person needs to take help from the sadhu for performing all these rituals related to Pind Daan.

How to do Pind Daan in Varanasi 

All these rituals in Varanasi are done from one day to seventeen days. There is a specific time and day for each puja to perform. On the first day of the puja, devotees take the holy bath in the sacred river Ganga. Further, one has to give the Sankalp, Guruvarn & barni before doing the puja. 

Additionally, there are two significant steps include in Shradh in Varanasi that provides for:
