Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive at Sawai Madhopur

After a brief rest and lunch, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour to Ranthambore Fort, if time permits.

Ranthambore Fort is a 10th century ancient fort located within the boundaries of the national park. Although a major part of the fort is in ruins, the architectural beauty, historic importance, and the natural ambience, make it an interesting site to visit.

The tour takes approximately two hours for the journey and exploration time. Thus, this activity depends on the timing of your train and the time you reach Ranthambore.

Day 2 : Ranthambore National Park

Before breakfast, you will be pick up from your resort and taken on an early morning jeep safari to the park. Early morning is the right time to spot many birds and interesting collection of mammals. You will be travelling with an experienced naturalist, who will guide you throughout the tour. On an open jeep, you will cover deeper regions of Ranthambore National Park to explore wildlife and track tigers.

The morning safari stretches for three hours. Ranthambore National Park is 392 square kilometers in area and is a famous tiger reserve. Apart from the majestic tigers, the park is also famous for spotting animals like hyena, dhole, chital, sambar, nilgai, sloth bear, leopard, wild boar, and other.

After safari, you will be taken back to the resort for breakfast and a brief rest. You can enjoy any in-resort activities or facilities, if you wish to do so.

After lunch, you will be taken on an evening safari to the park. Although the population of tigers is higher in this park, the chances of spotting one are very low. Thus, back-to-back safari will increase the chances of spotting numerous mammals.
