Welcome to Manas wildlife tour!. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station , Travelogy India representative will meet you and escort you to Manas National Park. The park is around 139km away from Guwahati and it takes four hours to reach the destination. The route towards the sanctuary is pleasing and scenic.
Once you reach Manas National Park, you will be taken to a hotel and checked in. The rest of the day is at leisure. If you wish, you can rest for getting ready for the activity-packed itinerary ahead of you. Or, you can enjoy exploring the regions around the hotel.
Overnight stay in Manas.
p>The activities for the day start a little early. Before breakfast, you will be taken on a jeep safari and elephant safari in Manas National Park. After safari, you will be dropped off at your hotel for you to enjoy breakfast and a brief rest.
Manas National Park is famous for spotting numerous animals like gaur, Hispid hare, royal Bengal Tiger, leopard, wild boar, sambar, Assam roofed turtle, Himalayan bear, hog deer, and others. If you visit during winter season, you can find numerous colorful birds like Cormorants, Riverchats, Ruddy Shelduck, and others. Early morning safari is best to spot many birds in the park.
After lunch, you will be taken for an evening safari in jeep in Manas national park. After safari, you will be taken back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast in the resort, the checkout formalities start. You will be checked out of the hotel and taken on a road trip to Guwahati. Once you reach Guwahati, you will be taken to the railway station or airport to continue with your journey.
