Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation along with the Indian Railways, introduced the first luxury train of India in 1982, called the Palace on Wheels. The train is inspired by the personal carriages of former Maharajas, Nizams and Viceroys of India and takes you to the past ages of Indian royalty. This royal like train was awarded as the World’s 4th Best Luxury Train in the year 2010 for it offers an outstanding and authentic tour.
