Shimla, the summer capital of yesteryear, is a cliche family destination of today. This hill town is also the capital of Himachal Pradesh. The main attractions of Shimla are the nostalgic British architecture, unhindered Himalayan view, culture-rich lifestyle to enjoy cuisine and shopping, and much more. Manali is the destination for adventure lovers who love to make some memories. This tour also covers eminent attractions in the region like Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, Kufri, and others.

If you wish to spend a couple of days with slow-paced activities and relax, Dalhousie and Khajjiar are the best destinations to enjoy a lazy exploration time. Return downhill to Dharamshala at the end of the tour to enjoy the spiritual beauty of the land. On the route, the tour will also cover Amritsar's emblematic attractions like Jallianwala Bagh memorial, and Golden Temple.

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Chandigarh

The tour starts once you reach Chandigarh via air travel or train. You will be received by our tour representative and will be shifted to a hotel in Chandigarh.

After a brief rest, you will be covering important destinations of land on a short sightseeing tour. Attractions covered in this tour are Chandigarh Museum and Art Gallery, Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Sukhna Lake, and others.

By evening, you will be taken to your hotel in Chandigarh for an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Excursion to Chail and Kufri

After breakfast in Chandigarh, you will be driven to Shimla.

After checking into a hotel, you will be driven to Kufri. Kufri is an interesting hill destination famous for adventure activities like skiing. After Kufri, you will be driven to the architectural paradise, Chail.

By evening, you will be returning to Shimla for a market tour covering Lakkar Bazaar, Tibetan Market, and Mall Road. These markets are the best places to buy souvenirs like clothing, fancy articles, artifacts, wooden items, handicrafts, and others.

You will be taken back to your hotel in Shimla for an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Shimla to Manali

After breakfast in Shimla, you will be checked out of the hotel and driven to Manali.

Once you reach Manali, you will be checked into a hotel. The remainder of this day is free. You can choose to do activities that you wish to do so.

You will be staying in the Manali hotel for the night.

Day 4 : Sightseeing at Manali

From Manali, you will be taken to Rohtang Pass via road. After visiting Snow Point (Rohtang Pass), you will be taking a detour to visit the Solang Valley before returning to Manali.

You will be taken back to your hotel in Manali for an overnight stay.

Note: the Rohtang Pass will be closed on every Tuesday. Also, the road route will be closed during harsh weather.

Day 5 : Manali – Dharamshala (By Road 220 KM/ 5 Hours approx)

After breakfast, you will be driven to Dharamshala via a scenic route(220 km – 5 hours).

Once you reach Dharamshala, you will be checked into a hotel. After settling in, you will be taken on a market tour.

You will be taken back to your hotel in Dharamshala for an overnight stay.

Day 6 : Explore Dharamshala

After breakfast, you will be driven around Dharamshala to catch touristy destinations like Bhagsunag Waterfall, Dalai Lama Temple, and Norbulingka Institute.

You will be taken back to your hotel in Dharamshala for an overnight stay.

Day 7 : Dharamshala to Dalhousie (By Road 120 KM approx 3 hours)

You will be checked out of the hotel in Dharamshala after breakfast and taken on a road trip to Dalhousie (120 km – 3 hours). Once you reach Dalhousie, you will be checked into a hotel.

You will be staying for the night in the Dalhousie hotel.

Day 8 : Sightseeing in Dalhousie

After breakfast, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour covering Panchpula natural pools, Subhash ki Baoli, and the famous Dalhousie temple – Bhulwani Mata Mandir.

You will be taken back to the hotel in Dalhousie for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9 : Day excursion of Khajjiar & Back

After breakfast in Dalhousie, you will be driven to Khajjiar for exploration. You will be visiting Khajjiar Lake during your trip. On the same day, you will be driven back to Dalhousie.

You will be taken back to the hotel in Dalhousie for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 : Dalhousie – Amritsar (By Road 200 KM approx 5 hours)

After breakfast in Dalhousie, you will be checked out of the hotel and taken on a road trip to Amritsar.

Once you reach Amritsar, you will be checked into a hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

You will be staying for the night in the hotel in Amritsar.

Day 11 : Explore Amritsar

After breakfast, you will be taken to the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) and the Jallianwala Bagh Memorial. You will also be visiting the Wagah border town to watch the prestigious Wagah border ceremony. This border is the bridge between India and Pakistan for the transit of goods. The town also has the train station that connects the two countries.

You will be taken back to the hotel in Amritsar for an overnight stay.

Day 12 : Amritsar – Chandigarh (By Road 225 KM/ 5 Hours approx) and Departure

After breakfast, you will be checked out of the hotel.

You will be driven to Chandigarh and transferred to the railway station or the airport to continue your journey.
