  1. Ponmudi Hill Station

    An unspoiled hill-station of Trivandrum is Ponmudi which is a must to visit place. It has a thick carpet of forest at the foothills. The charming tea gardens add to the beauty of the city.   3. Agasthyakoodam

    In the Sahyadri Mountain Range of Western Ghats, is located Agasthyakoodam- the second largest peak of Kerala. It is a Paradise for trekker as it provides opportunities for trekking. The dense forests and exotic wildlife adds to the beauty of Agasthyakoodam. Unusual medicinal plants and herbs besides colorful orchids can be found scattered around the hill. Enriched with wildlife and birds, this hill is situated near Neyyar Dam and Bonakkad. One can walk up to the place from Kotoor. To visit this place every traveler need to get forest pass from the Trivandrum Wildlife Office. It is recommended to visit Agasthyakoodam is between December and April.


  4. Kuthiramalika Palace Museum

    Kuthiramalika Palace Museum is a beautiful two-storeyed palace. This palace was built by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma near the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. It has numerous artefacts and is popularly known as horse palace. Paintings and various precious collections of the royal family are showcased in this palace museum.

  5. Padmanabhapuram Palace

    Padmanabhapuram Palace is a splendid wooden palace situated at the end of Kanyakumari. This palace is a fine specimen of Kerala's native architectural style.

  6. Padmanabhaswamy Temple
