Yoga tour of North India is a bit different type as it explores the ancient art of this land – Yoga. As we go on seeing various places of interest; we will also teach you the art of Yoga in its basic format. So, in this tour package you not only enjoy the beauty of India but also experience a very old art!
One the first day when you land at the Indira Gandhi International airport; our escort will take you airport. From airport we will take you to the hotel for over-night stay. Enjoy the facilities of the hotel as we give you a snapshot of your days ahead with us.
On the 2nd of the tour, we will explore New and Old Delhi in every sense. We will first begin with the Old Delhi. Here we will reach Akshardham Temple – a Swaminarayan Temple with 7 – foot – high gold leaf Idol of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. The next destination is Qutub Minar (longest Minaret in India(UNESCO World Heritage Site); it has also got Ashoka Pillar in its premises); Jama Masjid (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Humayun’s Tomb, Lodhi Garden ( famous for its Chatris) and the local Market Chandni Chowk (known for ethnic Indian dresses, artificial as well as real jewellery and local north Indian delicaies). Night stay in the hotel.
It’s a six hours drive from Delhi to Haridwar by road. We will reach Haridwar in the early seond half of the day. Here you can take a dip in the cool and serene water of Holy Hindu river Ganges or simply sit back and see the traditional rituals carried out by Pujaris and local people. From here we will show you Laxman Ka Jhoola and Har Ki Paudi. Overnight stay and dinner will be at the hotel in Haridwar only.
In the morning, next day, just near the banks of Ganges, our Yoga expert will teach you the basics of yoga. Relax and enjoy the BEGINNERS YOGA SESSION in the hotel premises and then move on to have your breakfast. You can also discuss your queries related to Yoga with the teacher here. Soon after this we will take you to Chandi Devi Temple, Daksheswara Mahadev Temple and Maya Devi Temple. Lunch is at the hotel and evening at your ease. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Next morning, before breakfast, join the 2nd session of Yoga and learn more practices of this ages old art. Discuss your queries and perform them with your collegues. Afternoon can be spent either at the hotel or at the banks of the Ganges. This day has been left for leisure. Lunch and Dinner will be served in the Hotel.
Apart from River Ganges, Haridwar is also famous for its Rajaji National Park. Spread over an area of 820kms and 3 three districts – Haridwar, Dehradun and Paudi Gharwal – its filled with pristine beauty and bio – rich diversity. Still working on 10 million years old Shivalik Eco – System; its fossil fauna include 50 species of elephants (out of which one is present today), Himalayan bear, Sloth bear, King Cobra, Monitor Lizard, Leopard Cat, Civets, Wild boar, Antelopes and much more…. . In the evening we shall return back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.
Get up early next morning and be ready for another session of Yoga. India is known for yet another traditional study called the study of stars and planetary motions. Its called astrology.
Rishikesh, your next destination just 20 minutes away! This place is known for River Rafting. So, on the 8th day, soon after Yoga session and breakfast; we will set off to Rishikesh for River Rafting. Here enjoy rafting as we take you for a ISO Certified rafting. In the evening, return back to Hotel in Rishikesh only and take rest in the hotel.
Get up to a refreshing morning and carry on with your Yoga Expert! After a cool session of Yoga and breakfast ; enjoy river rafting uptill 3rd level. In the later half of the day, soon after lunch we will take you to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple and Triveni Ghat. Dinner will be served in the Bonfire camp.
After enjoying breakfast; we will drive back to Delhi . It’s a rest day at the hotel in Delhi. Lunch and dinner at the hotel only.
Delhi to Agra is just a 4 hours drive by road and so we will begin early the next day. Breakfast will be served either on the way or at the hotel. On reaching Agra, check into hotel and we will take you to Taj Mahal (one of the SEVEN WONDERS OF WORLD). Built in a span of 17 years, it’s a marvel to see around. And don’t forget to get your pics clicked here. Also visit Agra Fort, Akbar's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah. Your tour of agra ends here. Dinner will be served in Agra Hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast we will move on to Jaipur city. On the way to Pink City of Rajasthan, we will see Fatehpur Sikri – a historical city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569 A.D. Our tour guide will guide you about its history in detail as you move around the City. Late in the evening, we will move towards Jaipur. Dinner shall be served in the hotel.
On the 13th day, get up to the first lit of Sun in Jaipur. Jaipur, the land of Pink coloured wall and Monumental buildings. So, soon after breakfast we will take you around to see Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar (ages old solar observatory with 14 major geometric devices), Amber Palace & City Palace (including Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal), Lake Palace and Babu Market ( ethnic rajasthani local market). Dinner and night stay in the hotel.
Soon after you finish your breakfast at Jaipur Hotel, we will go back to Delhi by road. On reaching Delhi we will help you board your flight back to your home.
