Kalpeni Islands is a group of three small islands. It is one of the most amazing and tranquil islands of Lakshadweep. The small islets like Pitti, Cheriyam and Tilakkam have settlements beautify the island of Kalpeni. Tourists visit this island to spend their holidays. About 287 km away from Kochi is located the Kalpeni Island, which lies at the south-east of Kavaratti Island and between Minicoy and Andrott. Kalpeni, which is aligned in the north-south direction, has a large lagoon with the width of 2.8 km and unique coral debris on its eastern and southeastern banks. It offers opportunities to the tourists to get involved in various water activities like kayaking, snorkeling, canoeing, reef walking and sailing yachts. White sandy beach, pristine water and dense tree canopy increases the beauty of Kalpeni Island.
