When you will arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (New Delhi), on the first day of your tour Travelogy India’s representative will greet you and welcome you in Indian traditional style. You will then be transferred to the hotel in an AC cab where you will be given the documents of your tour. Post lunch, you will go for sightseeing within the city. On the first day of your tour, you will get to see India Gate, Parliament House, Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple). You will also get the opportunity to shop at Chandni Chowk in the evening and will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay. You will then board a train for Jim Corbett National Park on the same day.
The train reaches Jim Corbett National Park at 05: 15 am. On reaching there, we shall take you to the Corbett Resort. It’s a pristine place and you can feel the difference as you enjoy your breakfast here. After breakfast we shall take you for a short trip around the park. Jim Corbett is famous for its Tigers and that’s what we will see here.
In the entire world only 5000 (approx.) tigers are there; out of which 3/4th of them are present in this park! You can also see the Asiatic Elephant, various kinds of fish, reptiles and mammals here. Lunch and dinner are scheduled here only. Enjoy the silence of the Jungle as you spend the night in one of the finest cottages here.
Next day soon after breakfast, we will set off to Jaipur which is around 490 kms by road. It will be evening when we will touch Jaipur. Lunch will be mid way. On reaching hotel in Jaipur, relax and enjoy the dinner.
Soon after finishing breakfast, we will see around the Pink City. Jaipur is a land of Maharajas. So, being here itself is a different experience. We will begin our day by first visiting the Amber Fort which also happens to be Landmark of Jaipur. Take a ride up the hill on the back of elephant. Set on a hill, over -looking Maota Lake it has got Queens and Kings rooms, mirrored room of mainQueen, armoury room and museum to see around.
After this we move on to see City Palace which has got some of the most exquisite Rajasthani Miniature Paintings, huge silver urns, miniature silver museum and real Gold Embroided Kings n Queens dresses! Enjoy the royalty here as we take you out for a special Rajasthani Lunch. After lunch we move on to see Solar Observatory (largest in India), Lake Palace (Summer Palace) and Babu Market (local ethnic market to shop from). In the evening, we will be back to Amber Fort to the Light and Sound Show here. For dinner and night stay we shall be back to the hotel.
In the search of Widlife side of India, we will reach Ranthambore National Park. It’s around 2 hours drive from Jaipur; so we will begin early. Breakfast will be served at Ranthambore Park. Ranthambore is one of the most renowned parks of Northern India; and here we will explore the park as we move on the Tiger Trails! Following on the steps of Tiger/Tigress we will reach them! Beware! you might find them looking straight in your camera! Here you are allowed to shoot them with Cameras only! You will also find a number of birds and other wild animals here. As the evening sets in, we will be back to the resort for snacks, dinner and night stay!
Ranthambore to Bharatpur Bird Sanctury is a 5 hours drive and so we will begin after a little lazy breakfast. Get up the next morning refreshed and after breakfast pack your bags to reach Bharatpur Bird Sanctury. Enjoy the evening here at the Sanctuary resorts listening to the music of birds. Dinner and night stay will be in the resort.
Next day, get up early in the wee hours as we shall take you early at around 5:00 a.m to see and explore wide variety of birds here. You can take your Tripods and cameras to explore more! Bharatpur or Keoladeo National Park is a ornithologists pride! This man made wetland has more than you can imagine – Great Egret, Painted Stork, Parkeet, Siberian Crane (Critically Endangered), migratory Waterfowl, Indian Grey Hornbill, spotted Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle Osprey, Imperial Eagle and more. There is a total of more than 365 species of birds here. Bharatpur Bird Sanctury is also a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Breakfast shall be served In between and for late lunch we shall be back to the resort. Soon after lunch, we will set off to Agra – our next destination. Dinner and nightstay at Agra hotel only.
Agra is a laid down city famous for its TAJ MAHAL. So, the first thing we will do here is see this more than picturesque mausoleum. Considered one of the SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD, it took 17 years to make this man – made pure white marble structure. Take pictures of yourself in front of this eternal love signature and have a good look at the frescos, inlays and architecture as you go around. After lunch, we will take you the Red Fort of Agra from where Emperor Shah Jahan used to see the Taj on being captivated by his own son! Evening is at leisure. Enjoy the services of the hotel and dinner.
On the 9th day of the tour, we take a flight directly to Khajuraho – the Temple City of India. Here we shall take you around Khajuraho Temples. Khajuraho temples are a group of Hindu and Jain Temples which are famous for their erotic sculptures. These temples are world acclaimed UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.
Spend the afternoon here. Lunch shall be in one of the good restaurants around. In the evening we shall be back to the hotel for night stay and dinner.
Next day soon after breakfast, we shall begin our journey towards Bandhavgarh National Park which is 6 – 7 hours drive. Relax on the way as lunch shall be mid – way. We will reach the Park at night where your evening snacks, dinner and night stay has been arranged.
Bandhavgardh National Park which is our next destination is another paradise for Tigers. Located in Umariya District of Madhya Pradesh! It has got the highest number of TIGERS which can be seen in Safaris – 2 being the minimum! So, get on the rocks here as we take you for a thrilling Tiger Safari here and enjoy the presence of the wild cats! Stay and food will be in the Bandhavgarh Resort only.
Kanha national park is basically a reserve forest which was subsequently turned into a National Park. It comes under the Project Tiger of India. What all you can see here include Swamp Deer (Most Endangered species of Deer on the brink of extinction), Sambar, Wild Dog, Spotted Deer, Grey Langur, Leopard and more than 300 species of birds. It’s a peaceful and tranquil place where you can spend days. So, on the first day of reaching here, we will leave you on your own to enjoy the place in all its serenity in your cottage. Relax and enjoy as we keep on serving you the necessities.
Get up next day for a early morning and have tea/coffee. At around 05: 00 am we will take you for Jungle Safari. It’s time to explore and do some photography, so take along your cameras. Enjoy the Gypsy Safari as we return back to the resort for lunch and rest. In the evening we will take you around to see some of the good places in the Park including Sharavan Tal, Shravan Chita, Macha Dongar. Enjoy the sunset view at Bamni Dadar. Dinner and night stay at the resort.
Kanha National Park has basically 3 Core Zones for seeing the Tigers and Leopards – Tala zone, Maghadhi zone and Khitauli zone. There are waterfalls also inside these zones to view and enjoy. On the 3rd day of the tour, we shall take you in one these zones – to let you explore more of the Royal animals! Lunch shall be in the resort and evenings are to relax. Enjoy your dinner and have a good sleep.
Next day, soon after breakfast we leave for Nagpur which is just 4 hours drive from Kanha National Park. On reaching Nagpur, we will take you straight to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Resrve.
