The Annual Jodhpur Flamenco and Gypsy Festival will be held in the prestigious fort of Jodhpur – Mehrangarh Fort from 03 April 2019 to 05 April, 2019. The main purpose of this festival is to promote and strengthen the cultural bond between Rajasthan and Spain.

Mehrangarh Fort, which is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan is the venue for the Annual Jodhpur Flamenco and Gypsy Festival. It is one of the largest forts of India with expansive courtyards and magnificent interiors. The fort was built 410 feet above the city by Rao Jodha, in the year 1460. It had numerous palaces and gardens in ancient times, which were ruined to make the Kaylana Lake. This lake has a beautiful surrounding with natural vegetation including Babool trees (Acacia nilotica) in abundance. During winters, numerous migratory birds like Siberian cranes can be seen here.
4. Umaid Bhawan Palace
This Palace is one of the largest private residences, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan. The palace which is named after Maharaja Umaid Singh has 347 rooms. It is the chief residence of the Royal Family, a part of which is managed by Taj Hotels. As Umaid Bhawan Palace was constructed using stones from Chittar Hill, it was also popular as Chittar Palace.

5. Balsamand Lake
This lake is located on Jodhpur – Mandore Road, which is 5 km away from Jodhpur. It was built by Balak Rao Parihar in 1159 AD and serves as a popular picnic spot. Lush green gardens surround the lake and enhance its beauty. The garden consists of trees like papaya, mango, pomegranate, plum and guava. It also shelters jackal and peacock.
