Maharajas Express

The Day 1 begins with a grand welcome at Sadarjung Railway Station, Delhi for your check in formalities which will begin at 20:30 hrs.

After a grand traditional welcome, you will be assisted to the Indian luxury train: Maharajas’ Express.

The royal journey of this luxury train called The Indian Splendour will commence at 2200 hrs. The train will then proceed to Agra, its first destination. Pay a visit to the Agra Fort.

After sightseeing, return to the train and have a royal and delicious dinner in its regal restaurant of the Maharajas Express train and then relax in the comfort of its elegant cabins of maharajas express.

Early in the morning, explore Taj Mahal, a mater-piece of Mughal architecture, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enjoy a champagne breakfast at the Taj Khema, overlooking the magnificent Taj Mahal.

Get back to the train for lunch and the train will leave for Ranthambore National Park.

Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard and then go for a game safari to Ranthambore National Park.

Return to the train and dinner is served as train moves towards Jaipur.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast on board pay a visit to the Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar) or you can choose to visit the Amer Fort. Move towards City Palace/Jai Mahal Palace for a joyous elephant ride and you can also get involved into other elephant activities such as painting and feeding them. Have an exclusive royal dinner.

Return back to the train for a comfortable overnight stay in Maharajas Express Cabin as train proceeds to Bikaner.

Reach the deserted kingdom of Bikaner, early morning of the 4th day's journey.

After on-board breakfast go for an optional sightseeing tour to Deshnok Temple (Rat Temple) or Lallgarh Palace Museum.

In the afternoon, having a sumptuous lunch on-board, you will then take a tour to the majestic Junagarh Fort.

From Junagarh Fort proceed for breathtakingly beautiful sundowners at the Sand Dunes. En-route a tea break awaits our guests at Gajner Palace.

Get involved in a camel cart procession around sand dunes, which will be followed by sundowner cocktails, barbecue and folk dances. Enjoy dinner amidst sand dunes.

Overnight stay on-board the train.

Enjoy a relaxed on-board breakfast, while reaching Jodhpur. If you wish, you could go to a village safari.

Spend the morning leisurely on-board or guests can also choose to go for the optional tour to Bishnoi village (only if time permits) or may choose from

• Spa facilities at a 5 star hotel
• An excursion to Umaid Bhawan Palace and Jaswant Thada
• Go for Shopping

Enjoy your royal Lunch on board the luxury train.

Post-lunch, visit to Mehrangarh Fort and Old Clock Tower Market and then guests enjoy a joy ride on Tuk-tuks.

After the sightseeing the guests will be treated to a royal cocktail evening with cultural puppet show at Hanwant Mahal.

Have a relishing dinner at an exclusive venue, return back to the train for a luxurious overnight stay.

As you arrive in Udaipur- the city of lakes, enjoy a royal breakfast on-board, while admiring the mesmerizing landscape.

Guests can choose to relax on-board or can go for optional activities such as

• A Sound and Light show (only if time permits).

Take a tranquil boat ride on Lake Pichola and afterwards a sightseeing tour to City Palace and Crystal Gallery.

After relishing a grand royal lunch at Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace.

Return back at the comfort of the train. A lavish dinner will be served on-board and an overnight stay amidst the luxury of the train cabins.

Enjoy a breakfast on-board as the train arrives at the home of Bollywood, Mumbai at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.

The last day of the magical journey will take you to its last destination Mumbai. On reaching the city, bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express after breakfast, as the Indian Splendour itinerary comes to an end.
