Palace on Wheels Cabins

The cabins of the Palace on Wheels train are designed to be lush with royalty and luxury in every single element. As the name indicates, the train is basically, a palace on train wheels. The train has 14 coaches with different styles of décor and luxury. Palace on Wheels provides two different styles of luxury level.

The cabins are classified as Deluxe Cabins and Super Deluxe Cabins. In general terms, the Super Deluxe Cabins are more luxurious than Deluxe Cabins. However, both the styles of accommodations are fascinatingly luxurious with silk fabric, wide range of handicraft and art work based decoration, antique furniture and much more.

Both the styles of cabins are famous for its comfort and luxury and they are provided with a wide range of amenities and features like

Deluxe Cabins

Deluxe Cabins

The Deluxe cabins can accommodate a maximum of two adults with an infant. Each cabin is decorated with specific style and theme. You can choose between twin beds (two separate beds) or a double bed (one large bed). The cabin includes other furniture like writing table, chairs and others. A small siting area is also included in the cabin. The floor is completely carpeted and the environment is well-lit with lights and large windows for sightseeing.

There are 13 Deluxe cabins in the train. The coaches containing Deluxe cabins are Moti Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Umaid Palace, Chandra Mahal, Kumbha Palace, Sukh Mahal, Lalgarh Palace, Phool Mahal, Padmini Mahal, Kishori Mahal, Jal Mahal, Surya Mahal and Jogi Mahal.

Super Deluxe cabins

Super Deluxe Cabins

The Super Deluxe Cabins are the most-luxurious of the two styles of accommodations. The cabins are painted in gold, ruby pink or blue. Vintage mirrors, fresh flowers in the morning, soft silk linen, panoramic windows and sublime environment are the salient features of this style of accommodation. Only one coach in the train contains the Super Deluxe Cabins. There are just two cabins. The coach with the super deluxe accommodation is called Taj Mahal. The two Super Deluxe Cabins in the train are Emerald and Diamond. The cabin holds a bedroom with double bed and a living room with writing table, coffee table, chairs and other upholstery.
