Jaigarh Fort was constructed in the year 1726. The fort is surrounded by watchtowers and towering gateways that houses the largest cannon on wheels. This fort has never been captured. This military structure of medieval time has been very well preserved. 3. Jal Mahal

At the center of man-made lake called Man Sagar Lake is situated the captivating palace, the Jal Mahal. It was built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799, as a summer palace. 4. Jantar Mantar

Jai Singh II built a royal observatory called Jantar Mantar in between the year 1727 and 1734. The term Jantar Mantar means "calculation instrument". There are 14 structures in Jantar Mantar, each of them has a special astronomical function such as measuring time, predicting eclipses and tracking stars. The most important among all is the huge sundial called the Samrat Yantra. It has a shadow moving roughly at the height of 90 feet that displays how quickly time goes.

5. City Palace
